NoPayStation Complete Setup Guide

NoPayStation is a Windows / Mac application containing a library of PS3, Vita, PSP and PSX games to download onto your PC. The downloaded game backups can then be installed onto its corresponding game console provided that it meets the requirements, i.e. homebrew enabled with an active custom firmware. The NoPayStation library also features game updates, DLC and themes.

Required Downloads:

Configuring NoPayStation

  • Creat a folder called NoPayStation on your desktop
  • Copy NPS_Browser.exe to the /NoPayStation/ folder
  • Copy pkg2zip.exe from the pkg2zip .zip to the /NoPayStation/ folder
  • Launch NPS_Browser.exe -> select [OK] if prompted about missing links
  1. Paste the following links into the corresponding fields:

  2. Set [Download and unpack dir] to where you want your files downloaded to
  3. Set [Any pkg dec tool] to pkg2zip.exe inside the /NoPayStation/ folder
  4. Set [Your pkg dec params] to -x {pkgFile} "{zRifKey}"
  5. Set [HMAC key for updates] to E5E278AA1EE34082A088279C83F9BBC806821C52F2AB5D2B4ABD995450355114
  6. Set [CompPack URL] to https://gitlab.com/nopaystation_repos/nps_compati_packs/raw/master/entries.txt
  7. Set [CompPack Patch URL] to https://gitlab.com/nopaystation_repos/nps_compati_packs/raw/master/entries_patch.txt
  8.  Restart NPS Browser for your changes to take effect

You should now see a list of titles to download. Search for titles using the search bar; use the drop-down box to filter consoles and use the checkboxes to select between [Games], [DLC] and [Themes].

Just Right click and select [Download and Unpack] to download content.

Get the emulator – Vita3k

  1. Download it from https://vita3k.org/#download.
  2. In https://vita3k.org/quickstart.html, follow the sections Other Requirements and Installing the firmware, ignore Dumping Games.

Get the games – NoPayStation

  1. Follow Configuration and Usage on https://nopaystation.com/faq, it’s not as complicated as it first looks! The address you input in Download and unpack dir field will be the game folder’s destination, remember this for step 3.
  2. Open the program, search for your game then click Download and Unpack, wait til Complete.
  3. Compress the downloaded game’s folder (named after the game’s ID, eg PCSG00272) into a .zip file. See note.
  4. Open Vita3k, then drag the .zip file to its window for installation.
  5. If you are using android upload the zip file and install vpk/zip.
  6. Check console for installation progress, you can start playing when it’s finshed. If your game is unplayable, refer to https://vita3k.org/compatibility.html .
